The Renewables Council of Louisiana
encourages membership from individuals who are employed in Louisiana
renewables-related businesses and institutions, especially managers
and technicians from the business community. We offer three types of
memberships: Full, Student, and Honorary. Individuals employed by
eligible private firms, schools of higher learning, and government
offices.

Membership expires May 31 of each year. Dues are not prorated.

Full Membership: $45 per year.

Full Membership shall include (1) voting privileges in the
council's general elections, (2) the right to run for council office,
(3) the member's name, company name and company website link located
on the council's website, (4) admission at no charge beyond Full
Membership dues to general meetings and some special events
(excluding special ticketed events). Meeting registration fees still
apply. If a member is UNABLE to attend a general meeting or special
event (excluding special ticketed events), he/she may send a
representative in his/her place. The representative must be employed
by the same employer as the member, and the representative may attend
the function at no charge, just as the member would. Luncheon guest
fees are $20.00 per guest.

Student Membership: $15 per year.
|
|
|
Any student who is currently interested in and/or studying in the
area of renewables or a related field and who is currently enrolled
at a local institution of higher learning as a full time student
shall be eligible for Student Membership. Student Members do not have
the privilege or right to vote in general elections or to run for
Council office. The Student Members may participate at general
meetings and will receive a discounted rate of $5.00 per luncheon.

Any person outstanding in renewables or related fields may by
unanimous vote of the Board of Directors be elected to Honorary
Membership status and will retain such status at the will and
pleasure of the Board of Directors. Honorary Members are not required
to pay dues, are admitted at no charge to general meetings (except
for the member registraion fee), and do not
have the privilege of voting in general elections.
